Yeah trust me, I've been there before..fell in love with a set of wheels, spent many weeks searching on yahoo auctions for it, finally found it, took me more than 9 weeks to get it here..then found out it didn't clear calipers, tried slip on spacers..dodgy..had custom made bolt on spacers...made my wheels vibrate at high speeds...in the end gave up and sold the wheels and bought ones that fitted nicely...

My high speed vibration were fixed with a simple wheel alignment and balance. No more vibrations at all :)

I Had spacers on my R33 when I bought it, and the standard studs on it only did up a few turns.....not enough thread. I ended up getting engineerd longer studs for the front to make it safe. Also they shaved the Nissan off on the front brakes to make clearence........bloody fags!.....don't go to LA performance in VIC.

and only a year ago I bought a set of Volk GT-C's 18inchs for my line and the fit was perfect....the right offset.

filled the guards and looked heaps better too!

don't use the wrong offset wheels.

sorry to hi jack this thread i just got a set of 18 inch gmax rims on my line. they seem to fit but the only problem is that there is a tiny clearance between the front brakes and rim (gap is 1.5 to 2mm). should i be worried?

Not at all, if there is a gap theres a gap, if it does not scrape then u have no problem. The wheel stays a fixed distance so aslong as it has some clearance there is no problem...

Spacers are illegal. I don't like that idea personally. Get soneone to hop in car and have it roll past you while you stand on the side of the road. If you hear is scraping then you have an issue. Get someone to profile the word nissan down like 0.5mm to be safe if you want.
