the thing on ur bumper is a like a parking antenna, it pops up to let u gauge where ur bumper is when parking. few imports came with them as an option in Japan. First time i've seen one on a 34 though. As for the attachments on the fender, at a guess they might be a parker light of some sort...japanese rice maybe

I concur with n15mo on the parking guide/antenna thing. I have only seen that once before on a 34. I don't have it on mine tho. I don't have a clue to those other attachments on your fenders.

You don't have xenons either so thats one less thing to have changed come compliance time.

I think it could be headlight wash's, lots of the newer cars out here have em.. and considering i've never heard of a gts-4 sedan b4 it could possibly be.

I may stand to be corrected on the 'non-xenon' lights thing (once it lands here) but of all the 34 light assemblies I've seen with that parker design have been the normal old halogen setup.

a xenon headlight assembly is different as in each bulb i.e. high, driving, parker is en-cased/enclosed from each other, if that makes any sense to you.

In the end I can tell just by looking at them

Here's a pic of my car (still waiting for lip spoiler) with the aerial up, funny cos i had always thought it was an aerial for the sat/nav set up that my car has. Looks cool at night as there is a blue light on top which illuminates when you turn your lights on.

I believe that they are factory style driving lights on the bumper. Can anyone confirm this?

Note my car has Xenon headlights with auto setting (turn on by themselves at night).

Damm GTX got auto on headlights... GTT didn't :(

I disagree, they look like Xenons to me, but i too can be wrong.

Remove Xenon b4 taking car to compliance, then refit them after compliance, as they are a much better headlight. :(

    • Thanks for that.... If only I could do something once and be happy with that, like some people do....
    • I had no transmission at all so I managed to find a big box manual gearbox from an R34 GTT for an insanely good price in EU. I converted it to push type which cost more than the transmission almost, with parts from Amayama! These engines are very strong and can put out decent power with a properly sized turbo. You can save on money from parts like pistons and rods, and invest those in the transmission and other parts. I suggest you join the RB20 Enthusiasts facebook group, plenty of info and almost daily posts there about 20DE/DET/Neo+T builds. (I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules by mentioning third party platforms, just trying to help the buddy out)
    • Yeah, having tried all of those methods including BBQ+recipro/hacksaw, I ended up buying a bush press kit under $150 that works well, like this: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/355967727167?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=sfmmuhxgqhm&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=dJvnaZ11TB-&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY It basically has a range of pushers and cups with threaded rods between to press out a range of large bushes. The problem with any sawing solution is minimising damage to the subframe side, although it probably needs a quick sand afterwards no matter what solution you try due to damage
    • Hi. Thanks for the answer. I do not have instagram 😄 I too considering turbo the RB20DE NEO 🙂 But i think i upgrade the gearbox first or at least buy new.
    • Just pulled the passenger apart so got a good idea, also the side bracket that pivots the top half is completely cooked.. how I don’t know.. haha and paid $400 also included a photo of the passenger seat! She is mint
