R32gtst Brake Upgrade

Looking to upgrade from my standard r32 gtst brakes to something more ideal for track days. Any suggestions?

Ive got a 92 gtst mspec.

What brakes do i have? :S

Good upgrade would be R32 GTR which are 16mm bigger

in dia and 2mm thicker along with braided brake lines and

good brake fluid and good brake pads.I would recommend

sloted rotors they have more bite do not get cross drilled

as they crack.Or I have heard that R33 GTS fronts are

also a suitable upgrade.The good thing about this upgrade

is that it's cheap and efective and still fit 16inch rims.

yeah, 32 GTR would be the go. they are cheap enough as lots of GTR owners go for bigger brakes. they run a 296mmX32mm front rotor vs the 280X30 you have now, and the rears are 297mm so maybe do all 4 at once.

Quote me if I'm wrong but I think the rear brakes are they same on

GTR-GTS (GTR non Vspec)

so you are using R32 GTR (non vspec or vspec?) rotors with R32 GTST Type M calipers?

would you run R32 GTR pads? or GTST pads?

Nothing wrong with standard M Spec brakes for track days, as long as they are in good condition. The usual

Replace the standard rubber hoses with braided

Service the callipers

DBA 4000 series slotted rotors front (4909) and rear (4908)

Castrol Super Response Dot 4 brake fluid

Hawke Black or (if you have ABS) Hawke Blue MT 4 compound pads

wouldn't u be better off buying new DBA 'gtr' slotted rotors if your going to buy new ones? Surely the price would be similair!

The fronts would be too big for the caliper and wouldn't fit (280mm vs 296mm)

280mm brakes --> direct fit for gts-t
