OK this will be of a work in progress as i dont have much spare time ATM

I will start by loading up all the important features with screen shots as this will show how it works and the options involved ie scales etc

I have added the wiring mod needed when using the plug and play GTR loom on R33 GTS-T

NOTE: GTT needs ignition adapter (internal plug in) and jumper 8 set to 12v not 5v as they have internal ignitors. In fact it is best to ALWAYS set this jumper to 12v (on all cars) as even if the ignition system is 5V it will not harm the system or any components.. it will only harm things if you set it to 5V and it is actually 12V.

**** ADDED ALL THE INSTALL NOTES AND HARNESS ADAPTERS****

How to remove AFM;

This is a simple operation that requires the optional greddy pressure sensor to be plugged into either of the inputs on the front of the emanage (yellow plugs).

  1. open data sampler map (far right toolbar icon)
  2. turn data sampler ON (click on/off icon)
  3. select airflow voltage and log its voltages (you will need to select greddy pressure sensor in the IGN and INJ too )
  4. drive vehicle and populate as much of the sample screen as possible (safest to do on dyno or track) but road is fine if you have enough demerit points :)
  5. cut and past this populated data into the AIRFLOW OUTPUT map.
  6. done

Here is a link to a easy to follow video (please remmeber it is an EVO IX so it uses HZ not voltge)

DATALOGING;

Below is a simple datalog, by scolling through the datalog a red square also tracks in the relevant map point. this makes finding detonating or fueling uses super easy and fast.

Is a two-step launch control ignition cut avail.?

Great to see, about time someone plugged the GReddy unit as it's definately a capable package.

Looks like you may be the only person I'll trust near my future boosted 350Z, this appears to be my only option for tuning.

here is the control panel for the launch control :)

Just wondering if the ultimate unit is a much better option than the regular e-manage blue. I've just got a 33 with bolt on mods and looking for engine management mainly, want to sort out my ignition timing and so on as my curve is all over the place.

i have an emenage blue in Cats daily S13, 850cc injectors, T518Z, cooler and exhaust. It works fine but with the 850cc injectors gets a bit borderline and i will upgrad it to the ultimate very soon.

i supose it come down to how far you want to go mod wise, if your not doing much more than you have now then go right ahead the blue willl be a great upgrade (plug and play box set is avail for R33) but if your planning on more mods down the track definately go the ultimate or PFC.

    • My first thought is run hardlines, but running a soft pipe is easier and quicker, though normally more exxy...
    • It sounds like the perfect time to do easier tasks like, work out how to pull the headlights fully apart, clean them inside and out, and make them meticulous... Or lose all the clips, f**k up polishing the lenses, and get frustrated with that job while you can't do bigger more fun ones and wind up with no usable headlights...   I mean... What?! 😛
    • @soviet_merlin Thanks mate!  Nothing too major but will hold me up for a while. I've got lipomas to get taken off the back of my neck and the middle of my spine which always conjures scary thoughts!  It sounds worse than it is. Yeah great, more time to contemplate rabbit hole deepening , just what I need! 🤣
    • I'd argue the F50 kit I got is very good value. For ~2k I got the calipers (refurbed condition), adapters, pads, brake lines, rotors, and top hats. I think you'd be pretty hard to get Evo/GTR/350z brembos + the additional hardware for similar money. Used market for a pair of front calipers alone I've seen tend to run anywhere from $1500-2000 depending on condition.    That said, something like a GTR or 350z brembo is a lot easier to adapt to the Silvia.
    • Is there a significant price difference between the Evo/gtr/350z brembos vs the F50? Looks amazing.
