Walboro Fuel Pump

If i put in a walboro fuel pump, how loud is the sound or is it silent?

When I turn the car on, I can hear a priming sound from the pump but I can't hear it once the engine is going.

i found mine to be a little bit louder then the stock pump. but hardly noticable with exhaust

I always thought it was the active lsd, to bad there is no way of finding out without going to replace the bastard.

yup mine isnt loud at all..

You can hear it a little bit of noise just before you start your car.. but thats it..

i dont think they make long range tanks for lines as yet..

fuel ecconomy shouldnt chane unless your old pump is half dead.

A lot of Nissans turn the pump on for a few seconds to get the fuel going through the system, before turning off again after a few seconds if you havn't started it. You might find in some cases that it is louder when you prime it, because it is not getting as much voltage when it is off and also you don't have the exhaust and engine noise to drown the sound out.

In my R32 GTR i could hear the fuel pump for about 8 seconds on startup and thats it for the whole drive. It was the standard one as far as i know.
