Lookin for Air Filters

Recommended Posts

I just got paid by the TAC and now I actually have money for a pod filter. If anyone knows any shops where I can get cheaper k&n or HKS filters please tell me. I'm in Epping and lookin for a shop close to here. One that's open tomorrow (Sunday) would be good too cause I wanna look tomorrow but Monday is good too cause I have no school then.

Any model/part numbers would help so I know what fits the R33. Is there any other things I should know about before buying one?

Thanks for your help.

Autobarn will have a few pods to choose from.Unless you specifically looking for a brandname pod, simota or similar will do the job just fine.Probe inside the pod. Some like 3A racing have a proper bellmouth to aid flow. You will also need an adaptor which bolts onto the AFM,and pod bolts onto the adaptor.Plastic ones will cost you $10 bux, while s/steel is $60.Also put some thought into bracing the thing properly. You dont want to leave scratch marks all over the place.

if looking for k&n they are mostly the same price across most shops.

i rekon wait till suprecheap auto has one of those "20%-off-everything-in-the-store" sales which happens about once a month. then get one there and save about 30 bucks or so.

by the way u do know that a pod is not roadworthy and that a simple drop-in filkter for the airbox flows just as good...don't u?

Waz.
