Where Do I Get A Front Caliper Rebuild Kit?

some people have suggested ABS but they dont seem to list them

do i have to ask for the s15 or z32 as they are the same calipers pretty much?

i had my mechanic send my calipers away to be rebuilt...

not the cheapest thing to do, but braking inspires much much more confidence.

it'd be better to ask for one specific to the r33gtst, cant hurt to ask whoever.

i think you can get a rebuild kit from nissan (dont know what it includes but)...

mine have been:

- completely disassembled, cleaned

- pistons replaced

- re-sleeved

- rubber boot/seals replaced

- nipples and banjo bolts replaced

- re-assembled

called around few ABS stores

1) SJ6070 part number some stores list some dont...

2) the stores that do list them say its only for one side however according to the thread above its per axle

3) the cost for the kit is $53 inc gst delivered, so the same price since yrs ago which is good to know

guess ill just order one and find out if its for the axle or not...

I went to a local brake guy and got the kit for both fronts and rear. Cost $120 did it myself. Straightforward job.

Bought my caliper kits from Nissan (Lutwyche)

They were $38 each side for the fronts and $26 each for the rears...

We do the kits at work for these. I can buy them for around $16 I think. You can do them yourself but if you don't have a sandblaster you might as well not bother coz the job will be half arsed.

how much will u charge for rebuilding calipers dan..? if we remove them bring them to u and wait? fronts/rears.?

yeah i wouldnt mind mine sandblasted. how much just for that? i can do the rest myself
