Its on Friday because that is Gympie Show holiday!

That leaves the rest of the weekend to do stuff!

So, 3Intheback and I are running a skid day on Friday 18 May!

The day starts at 8am and finishes at 4pm.

Cost is $100. For that, you and your mate or wife get:

Free BBQ lunch

Free drinks all day

Free Tuition

Tuition is built into the day as part of the day.

Tuition is delivered in a group setting,

however one on one tuition is available to anybody who asks, in or out of your car.

We only have 16 postions available, so you have to book and prepay early.

We run these skid days for like minded guys to come

and have some fun in their cars and not brake any laws.

It is a closed day, but anybody with boost is welcome!

An LSD will be very helpful as well!

Any thoughts.. or Q's.. add to the thread or PM me!

Cheers.

This is a great place to slide around and have low stress on your tyres and vehicle.

Because there is low numbers, that means you are not sitting around

all day waiting to have another go!

It is normal to burn between 1/4 and 1/2 a tank of fuel.

PM me if your interested or just add to the thread!

I'm sure you are going to have heaps of fun when u come to my skid day.. I'm really looking forward to it!

The Tech session will be different for the 2 days. You are more than welcome to attend both if u wish!

I'll bet good money you would be all skidded out by the end! lol

We call our selves SlideWize. We are not related to the sponsor of this site. It just so happens we share a name!

We ran a day on the 10th March. Is that what you are talking about?

We are running 3 more days this year not including the day that is booked for SAU.

Any body with boost is more than welcome to come!

Cheers.

Hey Aaron,

The day I was talking about was on the 10th of March I believe. Heaps of R31 one guys there, and a friend won the 6 cyl class in his Black R32.

Just wondering if the "points" carry over some how or each event is completely separate from the last?

Our skid day was held on the 10th March.

However, I think you are thinking of the Cooloola Car Club's Motorkhana which was held around the 25th March. We don't run cylinder classes.

If its motorkhanas you're interested in you will need to contact the Cooloola Car Club.

We concentrate more on education and improving driving skills while having a lot of fun!

We have dedicated technical sessions where you can learn or upgrade your skills.

Its not boring or too difficult.

We have received a lot of very positive feedback from people who say that our days are very different to what they've done previously and that its well worth getting involved in. Heaps of fun and really hones their skills.

We are non-profit. If we do make a profit, we purchase props to aid in the running of future skid days.

I hope that clears that up!

I beleive that the skid day I'm running for SAU on Sat 19 May is now booked out!

You could still try and get a spot, you may get lucky.

Contact RevHead about that day.

I still have some spots free for Friday 18 May though.

Take a day off work and go skidding ALL day..

then have the rest of the weekend to do what you want!

like some more mods to your car or fishing, or something..

Its worth thinking about.. lol

At our skid days, you get 4 minutes on the skid pan in one solid go.

Because there is very low car numbers, you will normally be back on the skid pan in 30minutes or so.

That means you get to go skidding for 8 minutes in an hour.. give or take!

You will be on the skid pan quite alot!

cheers
