Need A L.h.rear Steering Rod And Rod End

hey guys, as a result of avoiding an accident around a roundabout my left hand rear tyre kissed a gutter and bent the hicus rod.

ive phone heaps of wreckers today and all of them said $150 for the rod or $250 for the whole assembly. ( i couldnt get through to nissan.)

i was wondering whats the best thing do to, would it be cheaper to buy a hicus lockbar?

im an apprentice mechanic and i will do all the work myself. i just want to find a cheaper option as i think the prices for a secondhand part are just stupid.

also need 2new rear tyres as the w/a was out after the incident and ive worn away 40% of tread in the 6km drive home
