In the "what i love about my stagea" thread someone said they loved having an accurate temperature reading.

I gather the sensor must be near the engine bay on our stagea since it more or less reads 9 degrees over ambient (once the car is warmed up).

Does anyone know where the sensor is located?? Pics if possible would help.

its infront of the air con condensor, see pic, in red, so the radiator fan is pulling outside air in, and not much heat from the engine and radiator contaminates it. Some reasons could be, using thermofans(not always on), or sensor has been repositioned.

Yeah , I 2nd that. It usually sits just in front/bottom of the A/C condensor fan, so it's in the way when you put the FMIC in. The bracket it is mounted on is easy enough to bend so that it can repositioned to hang down vertically giving you clearance.
