Link Tuners

My car is in dire need of a tune as it's running 220km to 50L of premium.

I have a Link ECU and would like to know if anybody knows a tuner/mechanic that can help me diagnose any problems or lead me in the right direction of getting a few more k's out of my tank.

Current mods:

HKS 2530 turbo

HKS cooler

HKS cam gears

Bosch fuel pump

3" turbo back exhaust

GTR injectors

Fuel regulator

Link ECU

Would it be as simple as a tune?

Can anyone recommend a good Link tuner in Melbourne?

Any help appreciated. Petrol consumption is killing my wallet

AVO turboworld is where your gonna have to go i think.

AVO world eh...i might give them a call. I know there's a place in Richmond that tuned a mates car, but they also charge a fortune as he was charged somewhere in the vicinity of $500 depending on what needs to be done =|

also, the car is an r32 gts-t.

I've just heard of guys paying $200-250 for a full tune which is a lot less.

You'll find the guys with 200-250... thier car drives ok, but get in a decently tuned car with similar/identical mods and you can clearly see the difference.

People maybe your talking about were S-AFC's or something, just a basic interceptor which is around 200 to tune.

A full ECU tune is a lot more as its more invovled and results are better

cheapest I've seen for actual FULL tunes is around the $400 mark, and thats for the more common power FC....

AVO are not cheap... I used their dyno to have my car tuned (use of dyno only, My mechanic tuned it)...

they charge a small fortune, PM me if you want to know prices I was charged..

use raceingline in morrabin they have tuned mine for a few years and get great power out of mine.

they have the laptop dongal if you dont have it and the latest software so give them a try.

ask for tim sheather of electronic automotive in salicki ave epping. im running a link ecu with 347 rwkws i get better economy than that.

have anyone heard of Promech Performance Mechanics on Albert St, Richmond before? i know they also tune link ecu's and if u have, do u know if they're any good?

a tune would be the best but have you tried servicing it like air filter and fuel filter first of all i gain some more k's with the change of my fuel filter

let me guess your car has a current avo tune in it?

try racingline and if its a current model link dr-drift has tuned a few cars with them

*2 mates had link's tuned at claimed workshop charged a fortune and terrible tune
