It is currently joined togethor using screws therefore can be dismantle.

Do you have a pic of this hooked up in your engine bay? I'd like to know how it sits.

Also, does the stock snorkel hook up to this, or do you have to make a custom CAI?

Are there any actual advantages to using this with a pod over the factory air box with hi-flow panel?

as far as i know, this will allow more cooler air to come through, compared to not having the airbox around it..as this wil draw more warmer air frm the engine bay..

difference between panel and pod, pod draws in more air than panel would,

correct me if im wrong

this is basically to isolate the pod from hot air around the engine. there are lots of debate in the performance threads. some reckon better with stock box and some prefer pods.
