Just adding to what Gary has said.

The way I would do things is find out what is wrong/needs replacing first. Dont replace anything at this stage.

At this stage you then need to work out a plan of attack. On what you need to change with standard, and what needs to be upgraded to achive what you want to. I've seen some people go oh its broke, fix it. Then 2 months later throw it out as they didnt plan out their modifcations properly. Then the modding also costs more than it needed to. You get angry with the car costing so much etc.
