well i bought this a while ago now and has been a SLOW project for me. i got it cheap as it needed to be put through regency here in SA and had a fair few problems that needed ironing out.

its a 1989 Nissan A31 Cefiro

converted from NA AUTO -> RB20DET Manual

aftermarket FuelPump

FMIC

17x8 wheels

cusco front coilovers with cusco Tops (front left has a knock)

HKS rears

Full 3" zorst from turbo back

its basically stock and i use it each and every day to get from A-B. i try to get as much from my fuel tank as i can so bearly ever give it a strap.

Problems i have encountered since i got it and problems i have fixed.

Firstly the bonnet and bootlid paint was AWFUL. bootlid has had a quick coat of metallic black but havnt finished the pre rubback and havnt clear coated yet. bonnet will get the same after ive finished rubbing it back i hate Sanding..

i got the car serviced about a month ago and the carbon button on the 4th coilpac broke and car was only running on 5cylinders. then the coilpack plugs all broke so ireplaced all the plugs,

Cleaned the ACC valve and every sensor plug i can see

this car was convered in QLD and when i got the car i thought the alternator was buggered as the battery kept dying but thanks to Jeff from (The Speed Lab) figured out that when they wired up the computer they actually hardwired it straight to the battery so the computer is on 24/7. so the car is completly turned off but the fuel pump, coilpacks, every sensor still has power and thats why the battery keeps dying.. im in the process of fixing this at the moment, but i SUCK at wires

jeff tuned dyno tuned it for me and it went from awful to brilliant. it was tuned for reliability rather then BIG numbers on a sheet of paper, as this is my daily. it made an easy 142rwkw on stock boost.

all the interior has been changed to the manual interior as before when i first got it it was still the Auto surrounds cut to fit the handbreak and gearstick. and you may notice that the dash is bubbling and lifting up. that is being replaced this w/e with a mint dash surround that i got off a mate that wrecked his ceffy.

anyway enough banter heres some pics.. let us know what you think and what i should do next, keeping in mind im broke im looking for a nice aftermakret front bar for it now to replace the series 2 front bar that is currently on it.

Looks pretty clean inside, I like it

Next mods should RB25 turbo or a pair of swaybars. Both are great, and dont effect drivability much, easy to install and overall, CHEAP!
