plz explain the whole turbo process

Hey yall.

For all u out there.. yea i dont know diddly squat bout motors.. Just wanted someone to fully explain the whole trubo process in easy to understand english.. Okay this is all i know.. the turbo forces more air into the cylinder thus burns moe petrol therefore creates more power... One of the biggest things i dont understand is that people say superchargers are belt driven, and turbos work off spent exhaust... what exactly do they mean by this....? thanx all :burnout:
