sup all,

very long story short, got 8grand max to spend on a car atm.

main car i'm looking out for is an r32 gtst, have had a look at a few within the price range but all were in shit condition body/interior wise.

so yeah i'd like some suggestions/ options that i might have not thought about.

turbo/manual is essential

oh and don't tell me to get a "shitter for now" not what i'm after :ninja:

cheers for any help. :(

re-asses your budget then.

8k isnt going to get you anywhere

You need a bare minimum of 12k if you want something half decent as most cars in that price range are ~20 years old and need lots of things replaced.

Like i said, get a Laser 4k or there abouts, put a nice stereo into it and drive around.

Insurance is cheap, prangs are cheap to fix.

i've seen decent r32's go for that much, r33's even.

most if not all r32s you see for sale are overpriced but you do get 1 every now and then thats well priced. i wouldn't be wasting my time looking around for such cars if i knew i couldn't get one with that budget....

its low i know but i'm sure something will turn up for the right price, thing is i'm in a hurry.

r31, turbo ford laser, older model supras and rx7's.... and i dont mind the VL turbos either.. but yeh theres some suggestinos

thanks.

love FC's but petrol....

wouldn't mind an old school supra though

put it all on black!

or how about a 4 door

or how about waiting until you have 12k for a 2 door

but then you need cash flows to keep it. f**kit i'm going to bed, this is neverending.

i will never ever pay 12k for an r32.

how about a 4wd turbo TX3? what about a peugeot 205 gti? maybe an old beetle, then put a rotary in it and watch it fly!

not a fan of those lol. try n keep it japanese

dont buy an r32 for 8k man, thats just ridiculous.

buy something cheap to maintain, and keep saving till you get to at least 11-13k.....

an 8k r32 might end up costing upwards of 2-3k to fix.....

dont be impatient either, ive made that mistake twice.

not a fan of those lol. try n keep it japanese :D

They are japanese. They are just a mazda with a ford badge from memory.

My mate had a TX3 turbo and it was great. It was still running strong and had 280,000km's on the clock. He only sold it because he lost his license for 3 years after drag racing an unmarked cop car when he was drunk..... (not the brightest star in the sky)
