well the old wiring was just sh!t. and it was all Exposed and Uncovered. as u see it in the pic it was the same b4 i replaced the wires.

if ur worried about the wires its not hard to take the pump out and have a look. it only took me 10mins to pull the pump out

Just a tip for those who may not know....

MAKE SURE YOU USE THE CORRECT TYPE OF FUEL HOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only reason i say this is my 040 was put in with the wrong type of hose and the bloody hose literally fell apart!!!!! Caused MASSIVE knock and shudder, luckily i got it fixed very soon after.

Cheers

cable ties are fine in the fuel. although i probably would've used some spliced fuel hose between the pump and the clamps to reduce the noise. thats what i did with my install:

you can see that ive put something in between any kind of metal and the pump. also made it sit lower so it doesnt get '1/4 tank syndrome'. which i think will happen to yours as you dont have the standard pick-up any more.

my fuel pump sits lower than where the standard pick-up did. i can run less fuel on a track day and not worry about '1/4 tank syndrome'.

JETR-32

why would u use anything else but fuel hose? if ur working on fuel pumps or fuel lines u always must use fuel hose....

Yeah there are diffferent types of fuel hose, some of which do not like being in the tank. My piece of hose delaminated, and the outer on the hose split away from the inner part. Not fun.

All im saying is make sure you get the right type of hose in there.
