hey guys

i have an alarm system that was installed before i bought

the car and i was just wondering if any1 knew how to

adjust the sensitivity on these things.

It has MAGICAR written on it.

At some stages even high winds or trees blowing near the car will set it off.

Cheers Adrian.....

hey mate, not sure if this will help or not, i had an alarm installed on my car and after a couple of months it seemed to go off for no reason, (strong wind, car going past it). I checked the pin sensor thingy under the bonnet,(senses that the bonnet is down), and it the nut on the bottom had come loose and must have been moving in the breeze, tighten it up in correct position and no more alarm going off for no reason. Hope this helps.

Cheers

Brad.

yep. though it could also be shock related as well. that will be under the dash on the column if you can find it

i checked under under the dash and found the black box.

i turned the screw both ways (max and min) but still sensitive.

anything else i can do.

cheers adrian....
