I need help !

I'm changing my shocks and springs and need to know the standard ride height of a R33 GTS-t.

So if someone with standard suspension can mesure up their car from the centre of the wheel to the lip of the guard (front and back) it'd be great. And if you could just take not on how much fuel you have in the tank when you mesure it too....

I mesured up Shell car (thanks Shell :) ) but I just want to double check cause I've been told something different to what I messured :)

Shell's car got 365mm front and back with a full tank.

ATM mine mesures 355 at the back, and 335 front - but has coilovers, so it ain't stock :D

Thanks

Jayson

No probs Jay :P

if you need it for anything else, just give us a yell...

and just FYI, it was closer to half a tank than a full one (i had a qik look at the fuel guage when i drove off)...musta used more fuel than i thought...

Shell - you used that 1/2 a tank of doing burnouts I bet :)

Ken - thanks for that, so that's 376 front, and 363 rear.

I'm aiming for about 355 front and rear. The other car that was measured up was 375 rear and 365 front, so I think the rear springs tend to sag a little over time, or are pretty soft so are easily dropped depending on the fuel etc....

Thanks

Jayson

Jay, i will do it tomorrow for you. Just remember though, that even stockers are different; depends on the wheel/tyre combo. I'll post that too when i measure it

I have stock 16" rims, suspension and 205 tyres... cant remember the profile but will check it tomorrow.

OK, just measured it:

Ft: 355mm

Rr: 355mm

Half tank. No occupants :(

205/55 tyres. Stock suspension. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

I've worked it all out and ordered the new springs.

After having a chat to NDR and to Jackie at whiteline (who sounds hot !!!) I figured out that the whiteline stage 1 springs drop the car to 345mm. The springs are 35mm lower springs. So that works out that the stock ride height is 380mm (we're talking about NEW stock springs here :) ).

I only want to drop it 25mm, so I had to go the KMAC's cause whiteline only have 35mm+ ;)
