Should be pretty basic if you have the original parts.

Put the T-piece back in where the other solenoid was if electronic controller.

Or if just the wastegate actuator holding boost, cut the rubber line between the intake nipple and wastgate actuator and put the T-pice in there.

The end of the T-piece needs to feed a line into the bottom nipple of the original solenoid.

The top of the solenoid should then feedback to a nipple just after the afm i think.

That's it!

Might have the top and bottom nipples mixed up though

(I think I've used the word 'nipple' too many times :) )

The solenoid acts like a bleed valve boost controller.

Bleeding off some air to fool the wastegate actuator to raise the boost.

A turbosmart bleed valve lets the air go staright out into the engine bay but the bled off air from the standard solenoid gets fed back into the intake pipe just after the AFM. Probably for meeting Jap/Aus emmission standards and all that crap. Just follow it down and you will see.

with mine, the workshop re-connected it so that the original t-piece pipe goes into the outlet(horizontal one) of the bleed valve(same as above) and the other connector which i assume is the intake(vertical one in line with the screw) is pluged to nothing. does this sound right? i dont see how it could work as from my understanding the air passes through the bottom of the bleed valve, gets controled by the bearing and spring and exits out the side into the actuator.

they said its set to 11psi. car makes 199.6kw first ever dyno tune in shoot out mode with adjustable exhaust cam pulley, r34 smic full exhaust, arc induction box and exedy flywheel. seems abit too high for me to believe. stock guage reads 7 or just below that. how can i tell if im running free boost? i think its time for me to get a boost guage..ha.

what do you guys think of my bleed valve setup?
