Will increasing the track width on my s15 front and rear have a positive handling effect or not. Looking at around 10mm increase.

Car is s15, rims are standard 16inch, 6.5wide. Mods to sus are coilovers and adj strut bars.

Using bolt on spacers obviously not slip on ones.

Cheers

as far as i understand it, you may start breaking shit because you have moved the centre of the wheel out, and it increases the length of the 'lever' to the chassis, which will put bigger forces on your suspension and mounts.

of course i cant tell you how much of a difference it will make strngthwise, but i assume this is why they are not allowed under adr's. it will make a difference to handling but yeah will it be noticeable with only 10mm each side?

You won't find bolt on spacers in 10mm, there wouldn't be enough meat to allow for the nut recess. The thinnest I've seen are 20mm
