Hey guys, got my new car last week, its a 93 r32 gts-t. At the moment its running a 4inch catback and 13psi, everything else appears stock. The guy i bought it off claims that it was running 190rwkws with fmic,13psi and full exhaust. He also claims that the turbo is off a GTR, so that would be a t28 right?I have searched the forums with no luck on info for this upgrade. I spoke to one guy who rekns that he's seen in done before, makes it boost earliar than stock turbo and runs a hell of a lot more efficient..Apparently without the full exhaust and fmic it still ran 161rwkws on the morpowa dyno in adelaide.

Can anyone tell me if this would be possible for me to have this turbo or not?Its the first time iv heard of it done.

Cheers

It isn't an upgradge, it's a downgrade, because the gtr turbo is smaller. Also, it doesn't even bolt up. it would require lots of mods to put it on.

Unless if the car was from antarctica or somewhere where there are no gtst spares, i highly doubt that it's running a gtr turbo. Even if I lived in antarctica, i'd still buy one from overseas and get it sihpped.

You can use a T3 compressor cover on a CA/SR/GTR turbo however you cannot use a T3 turbine housing on a T28 turbo.

If it has a T28 turbine housing on it someone wasted alot of time.

Pics.....

lol so true no one smart would fit one of those its definetly a downgrade, i think a single gtr turbo is rated only at 150rwkw, which it probably would boost earlier as its smaller
