How Much Did A Wr33 Gst-t Cost (brand New)?

I was just wondering, how much would have a WR33 cost when it was first released... e.g. a 1996 S3... in it's peak, how much did it cost?

I just wanted to know, so I can appreciate it... I heard, a R33 would've cost (brand new) at the time of release - around $45K AUD, is this true?

i got the cost of a r34 somewhere in a motor mag where they did a review of it in japan. i think it was around the 45-50k. i will have a look sometime when i could be bothered looking through boxes of stuff for the magazine.

you would need to find out what the exchange rate was back then to get an accurate idea on price.
