Blow Off Valve Prob

i have rb25det and have just welded in a bov in the stock pipe after the intercooler. it is an work tcc type 3. i have blocked off the vaccum line to the stock bov. now if you load the engine up at low speeds and shut the throttle shut the engine revs drop down to stalling point, even rolling around the car park it wants to stall.

its similar to having an idle stepper motor not working. but it has only a direct cause of fitting this valve.

has any one had this drama b4??

my car is auto.

can neone recomend a good valve that works, any help is much appreciated.

pretty normal for an Atmo venting BOV ... been covered lots before

many many MANY people have had this problem.......including me......something to do with over sensitive air flow meters. Type BOV or blow off valve in seach and there should be a few threads.

Well if you still want the fully sick pssht sound by a GFB stealth blow off valve which re circulates the air aswell as dumps. set atmo to like the smallest setting make sure springs are set right should be ok but car will still seem to run slower cause it will run richer. cant get around it i guess.
