V8 Conversion

Recommended Posts

Seen a white R33 with an LS1 over here in Perth, was built by a guy that went to jail for kiddy fiddling :)

I also found this photo somewhere on this site.. pretty sure I saw the car at Motorvation this year.. RWD 32 4door I think.

Thats the punishment for putting a V8 in a skyline, especially a non-nissan V8.

except that engine is a VG30DET v6, not a v8

anything can be done - im reading of a guy in the states doing a 350chev rearwheel drive conversion to fwd integra (rx7 IRS rear, ls1 engine, tremec t56 gearbox)

JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF ANY ONE HAS EVER THOUGHT OF PUTTING A V8 INTO A 32 GTS4 OR GTR. JUST CRUIOUS TO SEE IF IT COULD BE DONE OR WOULD IT COST TO MUCH WITH HEAPS OF CUSTOM WORK. I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE COOL WITH THE LOOK OF THE 32 AND THE SOUND OF A V8

"AN UNBELIEVER!!!! PERSICUTE... KILL THE HERETIC!!!!!"

Quote - Monty Python.

On a serious note dude, that is boardering sacrelig...

The Cima (Y33 from memory) was available with a factory option of VH41 engine with ATTESSA. Unfortunately only with an automatic transmission.

This may offer an easier route to a V8 GT-R conversion still retaining ATTESSA. Interesting concept!

That Red 34 with the Gen-TT LS1 is Australian.Built by GT Autosound in SA for the Drift Australia series, so it can be done. There is a few build pics on another forum. So it definately can be done, but i dont think u would get it done for less than 20k, alot of hours would be involved.

There is a bloke in the UK putting an LS1 into an Astra, so im sure with a bit of massaging you could get it in there no worries, just depend on how deep the pockets are, but if it makes you happy, then why not :stupid:
