Guilt-Toy
Usually they are very bad on fuel but the newer ones are much better then what they were in the past. You wont get one to run as good as a power fc. I dont care what anyone says. Craney
i'm using a microtech in my 34 gtt at the moment. It's pretty much as they say, a bit rough in the low revs and can be a bit heavy on the fuel. At the moment i have 250 rwkw and for every 45 litres i throw in i get about 300 km (flog it here and there but mostly highway driving). Not the best fuel economy i've seen. Would probably go the power fc if you can. The only reason i went microtech is because that's what my tuner prefers to use. Guilt-Toy
a good tuner will suggest and tune whats best for the customer. microtech in r34 would destroy the car... did they hack the loom or was it a plug in? Craney
No plug in. Had to hard wire the ecu. If i knew what i know now i probably would've travelled out of town for tune jobs. But shit happens, would be a giant pain in the arse to pull it out now. But the guys does pretty decent work so it's not all bad. RellikZephyr
i got a microtech in my 32 GTR and i am getting 400k's to about 60L and im still to truely finish tune (bit rich for now) so a little over 300rwhp and approx 15L/100k true not as good as Power FC in economy as no closed loop but is by no means BAD fuel economy ECU choice should all depend on tuner RellikZephyr Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/163005-microtech/#findComment-3026065 Share on other sites
