Falken fk 451 are really really good tyres. You'll be suprised, because they're cheap for how grippy they are (bad english, i'm tired).

I've personally used the 451 and they are the best tyre you can buy without spending crazy amounts of money.

I haven't used the 452. When my tyres need to be changed, I will try them. I'm sure they'll be ok, because they are falken's more upper range tyre.

Whatever you do, do not buy the falken ziex tyres - they're like driving on ice.

The cheapest tyres that you can buy that are decent are the nangkang nsII ultrasport. They're ok in the wet - not as grippy as the falken fk451 though.

yeah the 451s are quite good. I have had the 326s which were not terrible in the dry but were shocking in the wet. I could spin 3rd gear with just in gear acceleration and that's with a bone stock 32 GTST making probably 100rwkw max.

452 and 326 are about the same .

451 are good and so are St 115 ( now superseeded ).

You will find the SP9000 are good .

Whoa, really?

Yeah, jerry, I foudn the st115 and 451 to be very good (one of the better street tyres and not expensive either). If anything, I found the 451 to be a little bit better. Did you find that too?

So the new 452 is no good is it? it's not like the 451? because the ziex 3xx are like death traps. May as well be driving slicks in the wet.

Cheers

Chris

That is very untrue! The 326 and 452 are like comparing apples to oranges. The 452 is the newer model which combines features from the 451 and ST115 (both superceded models). I've got 452s on my 34. Did a fair bit of research on them before biting the bullet and very happy with them both in wet and dry. There have been a fair few positive comments from guys that are using the 452 as well. While the 452 is no ultra performance tyre, its a good compromise between grip and wear. Good mid range tyre for the money. I paid $1100 for a set of 18s in 235 and 265 close to a year ago.

My bad, you are are right 452 is a good tyre. I was thinking of the 512 wich is very similar to 326, both crap .

Chris, I prefer the ST 115 over the FK451, had them both on a 33 GTR but the ST115 was 18" and the FK451 17" so maybe that had something to do with it . I had the ST115 on a rex a few years ago and that was good as well. I found them holding better when half worn.
