stock boost gauge

how accurate is the stock boost gauge?

i know its sh1t as everyone keeps saying but does it over-read or under-read or just read over/under as it feels?

i wanna have an idea of what boost i'm running coz all i have is filter and cat-back zorst and according to my conversion its about 10psi but that's using the stock gauge and it has no boost controller.

does this sound right?

Think about 9psi is standard for cat back, 7psi is stock. So its pretty close, but if you can accurately read a guage with only a couple of lines over the entire range you're doing pretty well:)

mine (15yr old now) is pretty spot on the money. I'm making 9.5 psi and it sit just about the half mark on my mmHg gauge. Which converted is around the 10 mark form memory.
