***UPDATE***

OK, finally serious about selling my car for financial and practical reasons. its a clean, relatively stock example of a S2 R33 V-Spec, with 11 months rego (May 2008).

Has 135xxxKM on the clock. complied in 1998, so these are original km's. Regularly serviced at Protek and run on ultimate 98 exclusively.

Mods: K&N Pod filters, Blitz NUR spec turbo back exhaust, KONI suspension, blits turbo timer. all installed by the previous owner.

I have also put in a pioneer head unit, 2x12 subs and amp.

car has never missed a beat, i love this thing but i just can't justify having it while i'm still at university.

i'm looking at $28,750 ONO.

im negotiable on price, and may consider trades of a more practical car + cash my way.

pm me or ring on 0434 359 586

  • 1 month later...

Its 1997 and 1998 (series 3) models that came with Xenon lights. I'm not sure if they were a factory option before that but I haven't seen series 2's with Xenon's.

Oh, and series 3 had the same series 2 front bar with a lower lip, red stitching, and a rear fog light (1 reverse light).

nice car mate, sure its a series 2? It has a series one front bar and doesn't have the xzenon front lights which alot of S2's had...

Series II's did not come with Xenon head lamps standard.

yep, like those who came before me I say it's definately a series 1. no passenger airbag (though I believe it's a S2 option, not standard), old style steering wheel, and front lip all say S1 to me. still a nice car, but not a series 2.

this is a series 2 interior: http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/6623/picture049wb8.jpg

    • EDIT: Just a little info what my tranny is "doing" :   For the long time the trans do this "bad" sound:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qs_iTXgDt40 It is literally the same sound and same symptoms(when i push the clutch it quites down) So is it really the shaft bearing?   Also:  i found this on forums: The RB20 and SR20 boxes are nearly indentical inside (rb20 has longer mainshaft)and suffer badly from bearing and selector failures when driven hard   The bearing is true and selector failure kinda too...it is "harder" to get into gears specialy when i drive a little bit hard...
    • We will review wtf is going on, but if you made any donations let me know and i will follow it up with the admins
    • See, that button sounds like perfection Duncan! My eyes really don't like light shining at them from a dash when I'm driving. Being part red colourblind, I've found for most cars that I can change colours on, I set everything to red, so my eyes see the elast amount of colour! I miss normal gauges in cars
    • bro, knowing the Japanese in  the 90's, i wouldn't be surprised if they shared components across their model lineup.
    • Maaaan so many "little" things  i rly hope my old RB20 would be "ok" and not too bad. I try to learn what and what not do i need. I look at crossmember at it looks different...even parts numbers are different. Wiring and all that i rly do not know...yeah someone mentioned the speedo thing. On that yoke clip. I rly do not know what can and cant be done "custom" so that is why iam asking to know and not be suprised 🙂  I know what it looks like
