Boost Guage Problem

The stock guage in my r34 gtt seems to stop working after giving the car a spirited drive... then suddenly jumps back up and starts working again. only seems to stop working when car is driven harder seems to always work when driven sensible... what could be causing this?

Gday this happens to me too but in 33... it works sometimes when i boost it hard

When i go out to country victoria and roads get bumpy it works... Im just going to get aftermarket one

Check if its plugged in to boost gauge unit properly... I think thats what its called

go check your stock hose for the gauge ... more than likely a hole which only seizes when its hot

so which hose is the one which goes to the guage anyone got some pics or can explain where its located in the bay.........

anyone else had this prob with r34 and found it was guage itself or something in engine bay stuffing up?
