Hi Guys,

After the PI track day last weekend I discovered the usual Rb26 blow by issues where too much oil ends up in the head. Now after doing a bit of research it seems that for my fairly stock engine a catch can and tomei oil restricter will go a long way to solving this. I already have a catch can on the way but had a few questions regarding the tomei oil restricter. Where exactly does thid get fitted? I am being told that it sits in between the head and the block (effectively in the gasket) in a supply oil gallery and will therefore require the head off to be fitted....is this correct?

Cheers

The head will need to be removed to fit it, you are correct
