Do I Need To Change Manifold Gasket?

got my hiflow turbz.

the gasket i have now is still pretty mint condition.

would i still need to change it or just throw everything back on?

Depends on how mint is mint. Nissan ones are about $40. If you believe it's in good enough condition to last until you remove your turo again (maybe never), then reuse it.

Having said that, coolant alone is worth $40. So not even including your labour, if it blows, you're wasting at least $40 anyways. Plus labour, oil, washers, etc etc.

also on another note i bought a gates timing belt for my car. are they any good?

also when i change the belt do i have to buy new tensioners?

Check the bearings. If they're fine, you don't HAVE to.

gates belts are known for being noisy. Never used one. I dont' see a prboelmw ith the nissan one, so I won't change. they're cheap anyway

If there the slightest bit noisy or any play replace them. I found a place that sells them for under $80 for the 2. Complete assemblies..

I'll just add to ben's post. If you're going to change the bearings, change the bolts to new high tensiles too. Not expensive in the scheme of things.
