ok, i have done a search but didnt come up with what i wanted

1 - my heater/aircon is stuck on demist, doesnt matter if i select head/feet etc, it stays on demist

2 - its stuck on heat, i can hold the cold button to override and it gets cold but... if i turn the unit off it starts venting hot air

3 - relating to above, i can select to recirculate the air but when the unit is tuned off it changes to the outside vent, hence it slightly blows hot air

:wave::(;)

It sounds like the climate control thinks its very cold and always blowing hot air? Could have a faulty temp sensor.

There is a temp sensor to the right of the ash tray. Its like three small slits. Thats a common sensor which detaches/faulty.

Also sounds like your mode door actuator may be stuffed. Hence not swapping from demister.

Run the diag as explained in the pic below to see if the temp shows odd numbers.

Hope this all helps.

sounds like you have a mixture of the same problems as to what Rekin and i have. Run the diagnostics and let us know what you come up with. make sure when you run them, do it in full sunlight or you will get error 25. thats the sunload sensor located in the left hand corner of the dash board closest to the window. (looks like a small plastic circle)

i havent fixed mine yet as my car is getting a rebuild currently.

good luck and let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ron

It seems that r32 ac units really have alot of issues. I have one that won't switch modes now and it won't heat or cool! :)

Have you seen the thread about R32 airconidioning in the DIY section? Has a lot of good info on the diagnositics. Do a test and see what you come up with.

mines the opposite. it wont go hot stays cold. went to the pits to get my yellow off and they said my demister is blowing cold air even tho the temp is set to 30 degrees

Try holding down your 'heat' button for about 20secs (or until the sign 'FH' comes on). Your system should ignore all the sensors and push out the hottest air possible. If it's still cold, your motor which controls the hot/cold is stuffed or your heater core is stuffed.
