Why di my sideskirt operation fail?

Hi.

tried to remove my right sideskirt yesterday but didn't quite know what i was doing.

i got the 2 screws from the front and 2 from the back and also found one in the middle underneath part but it still wouldnt come off.

i suspect it just kind of needs to be snapped out of position cause i dont think there were anymore screws holding it in place but i'm too scared to treat my baby with such disrespect.

is this the way to go about it or is there something i am missing.

theres about 5 or so clips also holding it in place (if its stock), these just pull out, but make sure all the screws have been removed first.

what do these clips look like?

so you suggest making sure all screws are off and then just yank away carefully.

thats what i did, the clips are little white things that jsut pull out, but they also break easy ($4 ea from nissan if u need replacing)
