gtt
I got defected last night at RBT, the cops are bad, mad, craszy..... I did nothing wrong, they pull me over for a test, I was fine and then they say my exhaust is too low. I been pull over at 9.30pm, and on the defect paper he put down 8.15pm. give me 24 hour to dirve, I said to him, I need just one working day to fix the problem, may I get a bit extention time, His said to me if i keep asking he will call tow truck to tow my car away! i'm driving a r34 gtt in adelaide, which is not may parts aroud. just wonder is the r33 catback exhaust and and r34 the same or can fit? and my stock tyre is 225/45/17, now i'm using 235/40/17 is that ok at regency? also the rear left shocker is not good, is that ok at inspection? or else change the pod fillter I'm all stock. thanks guys Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/163635-is-r33-catback-exhaust-and-r34-same/ Share on other sites
Nightcrawler
I think you could make an R33 exhaust fit - it will certainly bolt-on to the turbo/dump pipe, but the mounts might be slightly different. I would give it a try if I was you. tyres are fine. shocker they may or ma not check. pod filter is fine as long as it is fixed and doesn't wobble around all over the place. Cubes
Shoot to down to exhaust technology, they should be able to help you get through defect with your current exhaust. Did they measure the height of the exhaust? 100mm clearance is what's required. Where abouts was the defect station? gtt
thanks mate I just called regency. they said coil-overs are ok, must be on the right hight and no leaks. exhaust 90 db. after market bov can't pass, even you pump back. anybody tell me why the HID head light is stardand in Japan, here complance remove it, and put H1 on it. so if I use a 4300k hid builb, can pass the inspection or not.
