What about this:

Ben,

Thank you for your enquiry, we can do a high flow to your turbocharger but it is a little more involved than a standard turbocharger, this is due to the fact that your turbocharger is ball bearing and has a ceramic turbine shaft. The rebuild / hi flow we carry out to these unit are as follows:-

Turbine Wheel - replaced and upgraded with a inconel(steel) wheel , either stage 1 or 2

Compressor Wheel - replaced and upgraded with T04 wheel, either stage 1 or 2

Bearing Pack - replace with an XTR ball bearing package

Turbine Housing - machine to accept either of the larger wheels

Compressor Housing - machined to accept either of the larger hi flow wheels

Wastegate Actuator - standard or upgradeable to have higher boost pressure as standard.

Costs - Stage 1 = $2250.00 Rated @ 400hp

Stage 2 = $2450.00 Rated @ 450hp, does require other mods i.e. intercooler, fuel, etc

These prices are for the turbocharger only, but remembering that in effect the turbocharger centre will be brand new and the turbocharger will bolt straight back onto the engine with all fittings.

I trust this answers you questions, please do not hesitate to email me again.

Regards

Your standard turbine housing will not let you flow enough gases to push past 200 rwkws.

Sorry better explain...

When they profile the housing to the wheel they are only opening up a small part of the housing, the actual size of the standard R33 turbo scroll is absolutely s**t house.

I dont think hi-flow is a very good option for 250rwkw...

Dremen if you are interested in going a GT30 i can FAX you a dyno plot, the reason why i cant post is coz i dont have a scanner.

true.

when they hi-flow (my understanding i could be wrong) is mill out the intake/front housing a little bit to get a better/bigger wheel into the front. They don't actually change the housings.

Don't know what they do about the exhaust. Maybe the same thing???

please correct me if i am wrong.

When they highflow they do the following:

Turbine Wheel - replaced and upgraded with a inconel(steel) wheel , either stage 1 or 2

Compressor Wheel - replaced and upgraded with T04 wheel, either stage 1 or 2

Bearing Pack - replace with an XTR ball bearing package

Turbine Housing - machine to accept either of the larger wheels

Compressor Housing - machined to accept either of the larger hi flow wheels

Wastegate Actuator - standard or upgradeable to have higher boost pressure as standard.

At the moment I am running 179rwkw and thats not enough for my liking...

Gimme a call then and i'll show u what 203rwkw is... a noticable difference from 192rwkw (after i got the exhaust done down at Cobra's). Still though i personally can't even feel the difference between 192 and 203 but im holding onto the steering wheel.

I think you'd have your balls in stitches after getting in a car with 240-250rwkw. No point aiming for any higher.
