12.45, I'm over it. Tool time....and tuning needed.

Managed to burn out mates stock clutch in his ca18det 180sx!!

Got a 1.9 60' and 14.6, 3rd gear slipping because clutch was fried.

I'll help him change it, I'm not that mean.

Anyway, a few other skylines out tonight at the creek, and no problems for most.

One r32GTR ran a 10.9, and sounded mad.

A stock black r34GT-t manual ran in the 15's, and a handfull of r33's and silvia's.

At least the weather held up.

Yup very packed last nite due to a few reasons.... a falcon dropped about 398m's of fluid, it was bike nite (about 60 bikes, omg i'd rather watch paint dry) and last Wed + Fri were rained out so that plus school holidays every p-plater in his mirage wanted to run 17's.

Blitz didn't show (smart move).

A few quick VL's in the 9's (Rigoli) and also an r32 gtr did a 10.9 with atleast 1/2 sec more in it (bat launch - looked like it had crappy 17" street tyres). A few other low 11sec gtr's too.

Omg I hope those stunt bikes aren't going to be a regular thing, their is only so many times u can watch a guy do the same trick on a motorbike (did I mention I hate motorbikes?).

Does that mean they bought back FRIDAY NIGHT drags @ WSID?? That puts a smile to my face :( :( :P

i bloody hope they open friday nights again.....it was too packed last night.....i turned up on time and got 2 runs.....when i was getting on average 10 runs a night back in november....

stuffed both runs so it was a complete waste of time...

what r u luanching at?

coz i would have expected better then that from ur car

i was getting 12.50 with 240wkw with crappy falkens on the car

      How would i degree my cams on an rb25 hydraulic lifter head? lots of information online about degreeing cams on NEO or rb26 heads with solid lifters but cant find a definitive answer about hydraulic lifters. is the process just the same for both hydraulic and solid lifters on an rb (dial indicator on top of the lifter for measuring valve position) or do i have to mess with my lifter to make it solid for the degreeing process?

      Hmm. Two terminals. Probably just conductivity. If you knew the shape of the curve, you could probably just do it with a multimeter.

      Clinton and I spoke to Alan Heaphy at length last year at the Bathurst 1000 about the Gibson GTR's that he had at the track and the restoration work that his company was involved with. He has a number of people working for him who were part of Gibson Motorsport when these cars were being built and raced. What impressed me the most was the amount of first hand knowledge and information that he and his team have about the Gibson GTR's and their meticulous attention to detail in the restoration and maintenance of these cars.

      When you track RPM vs time it's clean, unlike the OEM one, even with filtering there are ripples. Means no random misfires or triggering issues at higher RPM, especially if you have big lift cams and a noisier valve train due to heavier springs.
