Hi all,

I require some help. My waterpump has blown and i've been trying to get it off but hell never knew it would be so hard. I have a Rb20de, non turbo engine, I have removed all the bolts but it still won't come off. Any suggestions would be great,

Thanks

You've removed all the timing belt covers? There are definitely no bolts still connected on the underside, out of view?

It's possible the sealant used in assembly is "gluing" the pump on - use a bigger hammer!

you need to pull the timing belt off.

there will be 4 14mm bolts, and 6 or 7 12mm ones and a 10mm one. all hidden behind the cambelt..ps.. dont uses the suplied gasket for the pump. use a silicon instead. it works better. the paper gaskets leak.

so to do it its a full strip on the front end of the engine. wich is crank pully off etc ect

Note sure if all Skylines are the same bro... but from my personal experience, you have to remove to pivotal bolts that are bolted from the bottom up that secures the waterpump... then you have to kinda twist it to the side a bit when taking it out... not sure if mine was tampered with but that's how I got it removed so that I could change other things...

Good luck - pictures would be good.
