After having a Keas stage 2 shift kit fitted to my car by Knox Automatics I decided to set up a group buy for them to show my appreciation.

For those of you who may not know of keas, they are regarded as one of the best in auto transmission components in Australia. www.keas.com.au.

Shifts are a lot more crisp and to the point.. just bang and straight into the next gear no mucking about.. love it and would highly recommend.

$300 shift kit

$55 deposit (returned once you standard valve body is sent back)

$30 postage to anywhere in Australia. This covers postage of the valve body to your door, and postage of your standard valve body back to Knox Automatics.

If you are in Melbourne, Knox Automatics can also install the shift kit for you.

$395 includes all parts and labour plus a transmission service. That's a bargain!

Shift kits available for:

r32-r33-r34 Skylines

s13 s14 s15 Silvia 180sx 200sx

300zx TT

This special offer ends has been extended due the the success of the group buy.

Now available until December!!

To order or for more information call Knox Automatics on 9764 2222.

Knox Automatics can also do full rebuilds, stage 1 and stage 3 shift kits, including Keas manualised autos. Mention this thread to receive a free transmission service with work conduction by Knox Automatics.

It's like the difference between HKS and Apexi, both top manufactures doing the same thing...

I guess in this case your comparing one of Victoria's best against one of SA's best... from what I understand both make very good shift kits

Paul at Keas is very good. He's doing some work for me out of this GB and has helped with all aspects of my rebuild (which I'm probably gonna regret but am trying myself). From the valve body rebuild he did for me through to recommending places over here in WA for me to get parts from to save me some shipping $$$$. He really went above and beyond.

I had organised to have one of the Keas shift kits installed but the guys were unable to because the Series 2 R34's have different valve bodies. :O Bert and Michael were top and honest guys to deal with and I would recommend Knox Auto's.

Just to help others out, there is a plate on the drivers side firewall, on the bottom is a code like RE4 01A or RE4 03A. These two codes are fine to upgrade, but mine had RE4R 01B - different valve bodies. Bit disappointed but if it can't be done, it can't be done. Just have to find something else to modify. :P
