chris davey
Very nice car. I have seen it numerous times at Willowbank and always puts on a good show. What is your best time and mph BTW? And with Nitrous or no nitrous? Regardless, quality car and good on you for sticking with the 2.5L Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/164099-900hp-out-of-my-rb25/page/4/#findComment-3047432 Share on other sites
Bunky_r31
that is an awesome car dude, and a huge achievment well done, can't wait to see it hit the track, bound to do some good times with a good set of slicks and that trusty old glide as to the dude with the commo comments, very interested to see what he has that he'd confidently line up against a 900hp car lol Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/164099-900hp-out-of-my-rb25/page/4/#findComment-3048758 Share on other sites

r_speedfreak_r
not putting down this car at all but ive seen it at willowbank a few times and i think all but once everytime ive seen it on the strip it had to get pushed back off. Last few times ive seen it at willowbank it didnt even make its way to the strip at all. Obviously its made more than 1 run but it would of been good to see it racing more rather than just sitting around looking good. phee
Is it just me, or is the dyno sheet not loading? Nice list of mods, and the engine looks clean, but anyone can polish an engine and spend copious amounts on parts. It's getting them all to work in the right order and the right pressures, that's the hard part. I'll believe your 900hp claim it when I see it. Ryan1200
The 900hp claim was done on an engine dyno this info came from a reliable sorce. Only thing i can say is the second wastegate merge pipes are so so ugly... phee
Reliable or not this thread was started on the 11 April and still no dyno sheet? I am not saying it isn't possible but it is now the 20th May and nothing... Anyone can polish an engine and buy a shit load of parts but putting them in a working and usable application is another issue. 900hp is from the engine, so we are talking around 720rwhp given the 20% (average) difference? Morgs - What's the MPH on DRAGME? Cubes
The 900hp claim was done on an engine dyno this info came from a reliable sorce. Only thing i can say is the second wastegate merge pipes are so so ugly... An old sau member in SA had his RB25 running 26 internals push out 580hp on an engine dyno. Once in the car and on a DD Dyno it only made 338rwkw. :S ~95rwkw drivetrain loss. FineLine
Was mentioned here that it went 146mph. FAAARK..I dont think theres any doubt now that the car is making massive horsepower. That should equate to nines easily when its sorted. Wonder what et's he ran? Guilt-Toy
im not suprised a RB25 can make this sort of power at all. Why not ? a 1J can. Well done. definatly many hours of work and i dont even want to think about how much $$ went into that setup. Speed flow galore Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/164099-900hp-out-of-my-rb25/page/4/#findComment-3130965 Share on other sites
humz
you have spent more money on fittings and hoses alone than most people spend on mods in general hahaha soo cool good stuff, haters need some Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/164099-900hp-out-of-my-rb25/page/4/#findComment-3131257 Share on other sites
2rismo
Forget 100kW+ drivetrain losses guys and girls. Also forget % based losses as it's a fallacy. 146mph is incredible though - awesome work!
