rms is the regulated sumthing sumthing or normal power output, id say its 80 MAX, about 30-40 RMS

its the way of getting an average power output seeing as the sound rarely gets up to the max power. If you average the normal sign wave you get zero, but rms allows a useful average that approximates the power the the speakers will be usually putting out...
