I've spent a lot of time detailing my car before. I know some people think it'll just get dirty again quickly, but my car's not a daily driver. The 'wax' really helps to keep dirt off it. When I wash it, i just use soap with no pressure, and everything comes off. No rubbing needed (rubbing scratches).
