I rang Blitz in the Gold Coast and they want $27 for the manual...

Pred, the BALANCE knob is actually to adjust the boost from rising or falling as rpm rises, so starting from the middle point if boost rises with rpm turn the knob towards the SHARP side and if boost falls with rpm then turn towards the MILD side.

Hmm.. i never seem to have that problem? as rpm rises the boost always seem to rise to the correct level? It just seems to adjust how quickly it does it?? I thought it was mainly for trying to reduce boost spike and dips by manipulating the wastegate response times?

From what it sounds like...I think either way, you will get a unit that will do what you want it to do Inasnt and that is hold the boost at whatever you set it to pretty well.

I'd maybe going for whatever you can get at the price, or if you are going the PowerFC, just get that boost solonoid add-on -> probably the cheapest solution of all.

I am looking to buy a profec b II soon, and was just wondering is it difficult to setup? or is it set the boost and go?

they use a high capacity solenoid valve.

coz this is an old ass thread and i already bough the profec b spec 2

and its small and its a great EBC .. the spec II is better than the spec I just in terms of space, the control box is about 1/2 the size, and the solenoid is about 1/4 of the size
