replacement box filter

I have a K & N Filter in my R33 and as mentioned it is the same as the VN-VS Commodore one. The product code to look for is 33-2031-2.

I replaced my HKS pod for the stock airbox and K & N panel, and I find it just as good if not better as I never had a CAI and was sucking in hot air.

i've never read anywhere that it is illegal to have a pod filter in victoria. all i read was that it is illegal to have more than 1 mod done to the air intake ie. pod filter and BOV.

true i have heard of the EPA stopping people if it is too loud but if the noise is contained, it is legal, right?

and finally, BOVs are a legal item aren't they?

Got my replacement drop in fiter. Like Daniel said, it is the K&N 33-2031-2. Fits perfectly. Autobarn has it on special currently for $109 (normally $129).

Haven't noticed much of a performance gain...yet. Probably should let the ECU adjust to the extra air over the next 2 days before I comment. It's definitely running smoother and making a sweet noise when under boost though.
