Howdy folks, I hope the Skylines Australia forums team doesn't mind, but we would like to extend a formal invitation for all members to attend this offical cruise this Saturday. Details as follows:

Well, as we get into the months of 2007 (boy is it going fast, hey?) the winter nights are ever so approaching! The risk of us running into a wet night of cruising is increasing more with each month - but don't stress, VicStreetScene will still be holding our cruises rain, hail or shine!

We at VicStreetScene are inviting you, your ride and your mates to come spend a night with us cruising Melbourne in style. We feel you just have to come check it out to see just how cool this is to check out the biggest regular cruises in Melbourne.

In February, VicStreetScene with thanks to HomeHQ in Mitcham played host to jam packed car park well into the 200 car mark (a physical count showed us 236 at around the 9:20pm mark). You just have to come down to check this out! It's quite a SIGHT to see!

The rides, the people, the streets - IT'S ALL A GREAT THING!

So you might be thinking that you have to have the neatest ride on the block to come down - think again! All cars - from Matty's 355 VK to Big John's beasty XR Falcon to Kelz' Renault to Kim's Adventra are welcome to tag along for the best night of cruising you'll experience! No one is gonna judge you! We appreciate everyone coming down to have a look!

If you're not so sure, why not just come check us out down at Mitcham HomeHQ before you head out for your night? Couldn't hurt!

So come down to enjoy VicStreetScene's 18th Official Cruise:

Location: Mitcham HomeHQ - You'll find that between Mitcham and Springvale Roads in Mitcham.

Date: Saturday 14th April

Time: 7:30PM for a 9:30PM Departure

Be sure to come down, as VicStreetScene will have a few tricks up their sleaves for the night!

Make sure you bring:

A gold coin donation for a map (Goes to the general maintenance and running of our club)

A jacket in case it gets cold

A melways to make sure you don't get lost!

A smile and a good attitude.

Stickers and T-shirts will be available on the night - refer to the thread here http://www.vicstreetscene.com/viewtopic.php?t=3718 for more information!

And just to finish up on a serious note:

Please make sure that you guys have familiarised yourselves with our Cruise Guidelines. Any unlawful behaviour that occurrs at our cruises will be frowned upon, and if necessary your details will be passed over to the police for them to deal with. We are a club about cruising, not hooning. If you need somewhere to let off a little steam, be sure to check out Calder Park and Drag Tag as you'll find they cater for this sort of thing.

We all appreciate a good burnout, but not at our cruises. This sort of behaviour does not set a good impression for the boys in blue, the boys that thus far we have such a good rapport with. Do we want to ruin that? Why no of course we don't. As if we did, our cruises wouldn't be so enjoyable now would they?

Hope to see you, your ride and your mates out on Saturday April 14.

Cheers

VicStreetScene Team

so we will be staying in the east side? or we going north, south, west?

I don't actually know for sure myself, however as the last crusie was east side, I have a feeling this one will be heading north. Having said that, a large percentage of the members, including myself live eastside so usually cruise back that way at the end.

How are people supposed to know where the meet points point if it isnt revealed until the night?

you turn up to home hq in mitcham and locate one of the vss admin, they will have things hanging around their neck and more then likely have a stack of papers in their hands, give them a dollar and get a map from them. that has all the locations on it.

these are a good night out, and we make everyone feel welcome no matter what they drive or condition their car is in.
