Is This Even Possible? Sounds A Lil Too Good.

Is was checking out with RB25DET power thread and with performance wise he had the following mods and got a crazy power output.

93 R33GTST S1

Stock Turbo

Stock Internals

Stock intercooler

factory set boost

Power FC

pod filter(no CAI)

3" turbo back, high flow cat, 3" back, 4.5" tip - all stainless.

ss bov

New NGK iridiums (BCPR6EIX11- suited to RB20 but runs cooler with RB25 in our conditions)

caltex vortex (would have prefered ultimate but.....)

yeah my car pulled 187rwKw with a central 20 ecu at 7 psi, and all the supporting mods.

Sounds pretty close to spot on to me.

That setup would output anywhere from 175rwkw-190rwkw depending on the tune and how much boost its running I would have thought.

I remember there was a guy a while ago who got 200rwkw through a standard set-up (although it was debated quite alot) but yeh, this would be quite possible

Hmmmm thats pretty good considering the 2 stage boost thing R33's have where you dont hit full boost till higher up the rpm range. What are these supporting mods.

+/- 20rwkw. Every dyno is different.

So then you could drop it to around 165-170rwkw and thats also sounds ok

Well yeah i tend to agree dynos are different, but i have had mine on 3 different ones, and 2 read exactly the same, or near enough, 5kw differance, but simmilar day conditions, and one read under by 10, once again on a simmilar day.
