Skirts - Painting , How Much ?

iv got some side skirts and rear pods i want to get painted , how much is the going price if anyone may know.... and where are some good places in sydney to go / which can also do fitment.?

do it urself.. its not that hard.. i just did mine 3 days ago.. it takes time but worth it.

i have the equipment to do it . although :

1 - how much will the paint cost ?

2 - can i buy it ready to spray , or am i going to have to add hardener and all that ...

but how much is it to get it done professionally

FOR 1 LITRE PAINT IT WILL COST AROUND $50 AND THE HARDENER IS ABOUT $25

BUT YOU WONT NEEDING THAT MUCH.

YES YO NEED TO MIX THE PAINT AND HARDENER AND THINNER.. BUT YOU WILL GET THE MEASURING CUP..

TO GO TO A PAINTER WILL COST BETWEEN $200-$300 AND UP, DEPENDS ON THE CONDITIONS OF THE SKIRTS..

where can i go to purchase the paint ? also will they give me the ratios i will need to mix the paints ?

also when attatching the skirts , what is the best stuff to use to attach where it wont sit flush , something strong and sticky? where can i pick that up

hey champ as an idea. i got quoted $800 for side skirts & rear pods + free pod enclosure box for my r32 gtr fitted and painted. this was at JSAI in liverpool (i think)

go to auto one or vg auto paints to buy the paint.. normally the ratio is on the can, but u can ask

and i use silicone to stick it and 2 screw each side..

doesnt move like stock skirt..

silicon sounds good . at least that way if skirts are ever removed it can peal off and be re applicated... thanks for the info guys.

prob good idea to get some silicone drops for the paint. stops fish eyes if you've been spraying tyre shine and armor all around. Just get it at a h'ware shop
