Hi everyone. Just a few points for organising a cruise.

To have a successful cruise its a good idea to list the following things.

Meet Location - List the location and put a Melway reference where possible. Melways are always helpful

Meet Time - Obviously so people know what time they are meant to be at the meet point

Destination - Where does the cruise intend on going? So that people can workout roughly how long the cruise is going for, and where its going.

Extra Info - Maybe people might need to bring a dollar for a cruise map, or a pen to mark off things if it was a scavenger hunt type of event.

Even how long the cruise duration is.

Basically just list anything that might help people attending your cruise.

Apparently there has also been a small issue regarding SAU-Vic cruises and public cruises, and some people being unable to differentiate between the two for whatever reason. So to cover this one off please read the following.

Unless an event/cruise is posted by a 9.gif, and clearly stated to be official. Then the cruise is deemed to be unofficial and has nothing to do with the SAU-Vic club itself.

At times a 38.gif will organise an event, thats totally ok. But just remember, it has nothing to do with SAU-Vic.

The person is just organising a cruise as any other forum member would do.

If someone has a suggestion or something i missed.

Lemme know and I'll add it in.

Cheers - Ash
