The Dan
The GTR will easily hold it's value for twice as long as the EVO....it's a simple question of finances...I say make the investment! maclarenf1
your a one lucky guy to have thas kind of options open !!!!!.....silly Q to ask in a skyline forum though....but i think above all the, GTR has that X factor about it......although i think in twisty stuff the evo will probably thump it... FineLine
I would go the gtr too but as eug said. Watch the money trap. I guess the problem stems from so many go fast and look good options in the market place for skylines Its hard to know where to stop. If you can discipline yourself to a certain level and just appreciate it for what it is I think you would enjoy it immensely. GTSTGIRL
My friend is head mechanic at mitsubishi and after everything hes told me, I would never buy an evo. Very expensive to fix...... maybe worse than a skyline Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/164541-hey-guys-need-bit-of-a-hand-here/#findComment-3049595 Share on other sites
dangerous_daveo
Yeah thats very true, IF i did go the 34, id so simple things just like my 33 GTR So given really there isnt THAT much difference between the 33 and 34 (other than newer and obviously looks). Why did you sell the R33 and get the evo? For what your going to use the car for, maybe look at something compleatly different? Just a suggestion. Benno31
The EVO is an awesome car, they do very well on the track with little money spent on them. The fuel economy will be better in an EVO and its nice having a newer car because generally speaking they have less problems. Having said all that, an EVO doesn't make me moist so I say GTR all the way!
