Yukky Stuff On Guages R34

guys i got an r34 but it has this sytuff on the centre guages that wont come off with normal washing, its very hard to explain but i dont think its on the inside but i cant seem to get it off,

anyone haev any ideas

yeah pics would be good. But you could try glass/plastic cleaner. I had a huge moth that splattered itself over my windscreen on my drive to healsville and back. Didnt clean it as soon as i got home, tried cleaning hte next day at a carwash - no luck. Used some window cleaning formula - and it came off without any trouble.

If its something like sticky tape thats been left for a while, then i dunno how to get rid of that.

plexus - plastic polish. comes in a aerasol tin at autobarn etc. i use it at work but it's good to polish your headlights too

how do you take the guages apart

is there a guide on how to do this

just pull the whole ac vents panel out. It comes out towards you. you can lever it with a screw driver in the egde. you will then see two screws. pull them out and slide the gauges towards you. then you unplug the gauges and remove the 2 screws holding the gauge to plastic

it's not that hard i think there is a thread on removing it to get to the sterio.

Mothers plastic cleaner is also good. Gets those plastic headlights coming up like new again.
